The Ampleforth Abbey Tea Room
The Tea Room, furnished with the famous ‘Mousey Thompson’ tables, is situated off the Main Hall in the Central Building. It provides a welcome respite and nourishing refreshments. Using locally produced products where we can, our menu includes homemade cakes and scones, ciabattas, light meals, salads and delicious afternoon teas. We also have freshly ground coffees and Yorkshire tea or why not try a glass of cider with your meal or relax in our courtyard with a glass of wine?

Monday - Saturday 10am until 5.30pm.
Sunday 12 noon until 5.30pm
