Ampleforth Abbey Winter Taster Tour
Ampleforth Abbey welcomes you to join us on a special Winter Taster tour.
The tour will start at the Cider Mill where Cameron, our orchard manager will give you an introduction to the processes used to make our delicious cider. You will then visit the Bond where you can observe the cider and liqueurs in their oak barrels.
Following the tour you will visit the Windmill where there will be a tasting session of Ampleforth Cider, Ampleforth Brandy and our special Damson Gin.
You will then enjoy a lunch of soup and sandwiches before having time to visit the Visitor Centre and if you wish, join a tour of the Abbey Church.
Tours will begin at 11:00am on Thursdays throughout February and March and are priced at £12.00 per person.
Due to popular demand we have added two extra dates for the winter tours: Thursday 12th April and Thursday 26th April.
